Energy Park Utility Company provides customers with reliable, year-round heating and cooling for interior spaces and domestic hot water. The service is convenient and easy to use by the range of building types in Energy Park, including commercial office space, technology centers, schools, light industrial manufacturing facilities, health clinics, a hotel, and multi-unit residential buildings.
Hot and chilled water produced in the central plant are circulated through an underground network of pipes and then transferred to the customer from the distribution network through isolation valves in the street at each customer location. Buildings take either hot or cold water to provide heating and cooling services. After a customer building draws the energy it needs, the water is returned to the central plant for heating or cooling and then recirculated through the closed loop system.
Energy Park Utility Company’s system is flexible and can be adapted to accommodate customer heating and cooling needs. Our team supports customers so that they can get the most out of their connection to the system.
Hot Water
Energy Park Utility Company’s central plant has three gas/oil-fired boilers that produce hot water year-round. This hot water supplies energy to the building’s HVAC system and can also be utilized as your heating source for domestic hot water. This eliminates the need for on-site boilers and associated maintenance and management.
Chilled Water
Chilled water produced by Energy Park Utility Company’s four electric-driven chillers is supplied to customers year-round, eliminating the need for on-site chillers, cooling towers, and associated maintenance and management.
Chilled water services provide cooling to commercial and residential buildings for space cooling and process cooling needs including data centers, restaurants, and breweries.
